Off the Beaten Path

Perhaps you have a Celebration of Life in mind that falls outside the norm. Creativity is balm for the soul. We will work with you to make your ideas for honoring your loved one a reality.

A Passion for Music

“Fare you well, fare you well,
I love you more than words can tell”*

Was a love of music a defining essence of the life you are remembering? Consider imbuing your ceremony with those beloved tunes. Following are two examples of possible ceremonies, but the…

Before I Go…

Would you like to honor someone you love with a Celebration of Life before they “shuffle off this mortal coil”*? With music, community, laughter and tears, or however you envision this event, Mary will help you create an exceptional experience.

Come on Up to the House

Many people are opting to bring their loved one home for a home funeral. Funerea will work in the background so that you can focus on your family, friends, and saying goodbye.

A Service in Service

Some people’s lives are all about giving back. They volunteer, they raise money for charity, they spend their vacations on service trips trying to make the world a more forgiving place. Come on Up to the House

Those we love leave an indelible mark on our hearts. During two or more personal consultations, we will design a personalized ceremony that honors your loved one for the unique individual they were. We will explore how this ceremony can best illustrate and celebrate their triumphs and challenges. Maybe we’ll locate a pond where you can float candlelit luminaries, launch a viking ship urn, or create a celebration around a favorite service project. After you choose the particular services needed Mary will contract with the providers. Should you wish, Mary will officiate the ceremony ensuring that you can be fully present with your family and friends.
